My name is Eqbal. For me, education is a fundamental human right and a key prerequisite for self-determination, equality, and social participation. In Afghanistan, women are systematically excluded from this right and denied access to education.

It is crucial that women in Afghanistan are given the opportunity to further their education, develop their skills, and shape their own lives. Women are not a marginal part of society, but play a significant role in it. They must have the same opportunities for education, work, and social participation as everyone else.

That is why it is necessary to specifically promote, empower, and support women in solidarity. At Wildflower, I have the opportunity to accompany women on their path to empowerment.
